Grant opportunity for local organisations

Voluntary and charitable organisations on the Galson Estate that require assistance to recover from COVID-19 can now apply for grants of up to £3000.

After a successful application to the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) Communities Recovery Fund, Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn (UOG) were granted funding to partner with voluntary organisations within the Galson Estate. This enables UOG to administer grant funding that will support community groups in their recovery from the pandemic.

Grants can cover the costs of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fund health and wellbeing activities and assist with enhanced cleaning procedures, among other projects.

If your organisation could benefit from this funding, please do not delay in contacting Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn to request an application form. Applications must be received by Monday 15th November 2021 and monies allocated must be spent by Thursday 31st March 2022.
